May 18th (3 days)    Belgium Steam Explorer    £495 (SRS £85)
Enjoy a glorious long weekend of standard gauge steam staying in beautiful Brussels, and featuring a mainline steam run to Mariembourg with Class 29 013, double headed steam on the Three Vallees line and private steam photo charters on both the 10 kms Maldegem line and on the Baasrode – Puurs line. We travel behind five different steam locos in just three days!

July 16th (7 days)    Isle of Man & North West Steam    Fares from £895 (SRS £125)
We feature 11 lines in just 7 days – including 3 days on the Isle of Man to experience Manx Electric, Snaefell, Laxey Mines, Groudle Glen and Isle of Man Steam. We take a private steam charter on the Ribble Steam Railway and ride the Lakeside & Haverthwaite, Ravenglass & Eskdale, East Lancs and Churnet Valley steam railways - and conclude our tour at the famous Foxfield annual steam gala. A superb getaway from the Olympics!

We lineside through fabulous mountain scenery for great some photo opportunities. Enjoy two days with Union Pacific’s famous 844 or “Challenger” out on the main line, plus the stunning Cumbres & Toltec and Durango & Silverton narrow gauge lines, and steam over the La Veta Pass.
 

August 2nd (6 days, by air) Austrian Steam Explorer    £1045 (SRS £170)
A steam action packed short break featuring six steam lines. Austria boasts some great heritage railways in beautiful countryside; on this tour we visit most of them, from the Achenseebahn and lake cruise, to the famous Zillertalbahn. We also take the delightful Steyrtalbahn and the superbly scenic Mariazellerbahn.

August 18th (5 days)    Central France Steam and Scenery    £695 (SRS £65) 
Featuring two steam train rides, the amazing village of Rocamadour that clings to a dramatic hillside and scenic rail through the Cere and Alagnon Gorges. Enjoy steam with 141TD 740 from Limoges along the Vienne Gorges to Eymoutiers, plus travel behind steam on the steeply graded Haut Quercy line, with views of wonderful Dordogne countryside. Experience the stunning volcanic scenery of central France by train; savour the local cuisine along the way.

August 25th (8 days)    Welsh Mega Steam    £899 (NO SRS)
An update to an extremely popular tour, now featuring FOURTEEN fantastic Welsh lines in just 8 days! A unique opportunity to experience the great rail journeys of the 'little' and standard gauge lines that snake through the stunning scenery of north Wales, including the whole of the superb Welsh Highland line from Porthmadog to Caernarfon through the Aberglaslyn Pass, plus ride the spectacularly scenic Cambrian Coast line. If you’ve always promised yourself to ‘do’ all these famous railways, but never got round to it – then this is a unique opportunity to bag them all in one go! August 25th (10 days)    German Mega Steam 7    Fare £1295 (SRS £159)
Rügen, Molli, Meiningen Festival & Mainline steam! Following popular demand we return to Northern Germany, staying on the Baltic Coast at Rostock, to enjoy the 24 kms of steam on Rügen Island’s Rasender Roland and the renowned Molli with street running at Bad Doberan and lineside bus. We enjoy mainline steam with Class 52 8177 from Berlin to Rheinsberg, and later return to Berlin for a steam depot visit and to view the amazing LOXX Model Railway. Then it our sensational “Pacifics’ Day” hauled by two different locos, commencing with Pacific 03 1010 from Berlin to Meiningen. After visiting the annual steam Works Festival, we board a different mainline steam special returning from Meiningen to Stuttgart with 01 1066 at the head. We enjoy more great mainline steam from Karlsruhe to Baiersbronn with Class 58 311 and round off our holiday with a steam journey on a line we have never visited before: the Archertäler Railway, for a private photo charter and depot tour.

 

August 31st (4 days)     Meiningen Steam Festival & More    Fare £595 (SRS £75)
A sensational short break, joining the latter stages of the above Mega Steam tour for the day of Pacific steam haulage with two different locos. We commence with Pacific 03 1010 from Berlin to Meiningen. Then, after visiting the Festival, we board a different mainline steam special with 01 1066 at the head to travel from Meiningen to Stuttgart. We continue the mainline theme the following day from Karlsruhe to Baiersbronn with Class 58 311, and conclude with the Archertäler steam charter.

September 12th (8 days)    Swiss Mountain Steam £1495    (SRS £280)
Our superb steam and scenery tour – plus the rare opportunity of the amazing journey over the Bruenig Pass hauled by a vintage steam loco. Panoramic vistas on the original route of the Glacier Express on the Furka Steam Railway, plus the Brienz – Rothorn steam railway.
 

October 17th (6 days)    Golden Harz Enthusiasts Festival    Fare £795 (SRS £99)
A fantastic tour of the Harz featuring a plethora of unusual charter workings with many photo opportunities, plus a day in Wuppertal for Scwebebahn and heritage trams. Highlights include: Storming the Brocken with Mallet 99 5902 and historic coaching stock; a double heading day on the Selkethal with Henschel-built 99 6101 (affectionately known as Pfifi, on the Harz since 1915) and 1918 built Mallet 99 5906, and travelling all the way through to the southern terminus of Nordhausen with 99 6101.

November 2013 (circa 14 days)     India – Sights and Steam    Fare TBA
A two week tour visiting Delhi, Agra, Mumbai and steam to the “hill stations” of Shimla, Darjeeling and Matheran. The tour also includes two railway museums with engines in steam.
