Join us on this tour to Portugal as we set out to deliver rail and culture with a combination of trains, historic towns and sights, beautiful scenery, and excellent hotels. We begin in the Templar town of Tomar and visit the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo and the nearby National Railway Museum. Our tour continues as we move to the Roman town of Évora where we visit Beja and the hilltop village of Monsaraz.

This holiday features two of the finest railway journeys in Europe, with the Flam and Rauma railways offering jaw-dropping scenery as they descend from the mountains to deep fjords.
